We are able to facilitate large/heavy and older dogs in the salon. As of yet we have not found a dog which does not fit in our bath! We have had Great Danes, Bernese Mountain dogs and an Irish Wolf Hound. Our bath has gentle steps up to it, or the dog can be lifted from the electric grooming table to the bath, and vice versa.
